The Content and Social Media Manager will be instrumental in bringing the brand to life by designing the social media playbook, fueling growth, creating content, and managing the core social profiles. Our goal is to provide our customers with a consistent, elevated brand experience across every touchpoint. We’re looking to deliver memorable experiences that help drive brand love. This role must exhibit a passion for storytelling and understand the nuances of pet ownership to create compelling content and relate to our target customers. This role will also be focused on understanding the competitive digital landscape and elevating our brand aesthetic. You will own the work to reach our big goals to grow our followers, increase engagement, and create best-in-class content.

Responsibilities ⭐ 

  • Drive the development and execution of organic social media strategy across all platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn, with a focus on driving growth and engagement on IG and TikTok.
  • Continue to drive innovation with a forward-thinking, insider approach to social, including the activation and growth of new platforms that track as complementary to the larger marketing calendar. 
  • Aggressively grow our social media channels from an audience and engagement standpoint, and unlock new opportunities to engage with our community through purposeful campaigns. 
  • Ideate, pitch, and execute evergreen video content for Jinx-owned channels against strategic framework; work closely with influencers to brief in and develop video content that supports brand marketing initiatives. 
  • Stay tuned in with social trends and best practices, curating trending audio, content framing, and an organic tone of voice on each platform.  
  • Community management on social channels with support from customer service associate.
  • Build and maintain a trade influencer ambassador program. 
  • Ability to harness data and insights into content strategy adjustments. 
  •  Record and relay recurring customer feedback and insights to internal teams such as tech, marketing, design, and product in order to constantly improve the customer experience. 
  • Deliver Weekly and monthly KPI reporting for social channels, including presenting to senior leadership.


  • Proven track record of growing followers and engagement on Instagram and Tiktok.
  • A growth-oriented mindset and confidence to work towards ambitious goals. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever shifting start-up environment. 
  • Must be based in or relocate to Los Angeles, California where the company HQ is located. 
  • At least 3-5 years of direct experience managing the content calendar and execution for all notable social media platforms, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. 
  •  Proven experience in authoring engaging social content for comparable brands. 
  • Exposure to managing influencer partnerships as an extension of social media strategy.
