The Director of National Accounts, Grocery is a key leader in the organization and will provide strategy, direction, and activation for winning in the National Grocery accounts. This position will be a critical leader, with a high comfort level in building/creating within a start-up ecosystem and be a champion of sustainable growth. The Director of National Accounts, Grocery will work across the organization to build the right portfolio at the right price to ensure strong velocities across the Grocery channel – leading with a contagious growth mindset above all else.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develops strategy for Grocery growth and responsible for building and managing relationships with national grocery chain accounts
  • Conducts analysis and develops presentations that increase Jinx’s off-shelf activity, expands distribution, and optimizes shelf position that drives trial and increase overall velocities
  • Proactively executes customer development strategies identified by the Grocery channel strategy all while maintaining trade rates
  • Uses category management expertise in order to maximize distribution, shelf presence, feature ad support, and display impact in all Grocery accounts
  • Maintains and analyzes market data regarding account performance and Nielsen performance and educates organization on implications
  • Understands how to drive not just distribution but also how to impact productivity and velocities both in-store and on-line
  • Identify and manage appropriate brokers by onboarding and holding accountable to company and business goals

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • 5+ years of proven Sales leadership in National Account Management with 3+ years in managing Grocery chain accounts experience 
  • Proven analytical and category management skills 
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) 
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze, summarize and effectively present data
  • Good organizational, planning, and follow-up skills 
  • Solid understanding of requirements to deliver profitable business 
  • Excellent presentation skills 
  • Travel will be necessary, occasionally requiring air travel
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required
